What someone did for a living, where they moved and why, the version of a story you only hear at a funeral. Written down before it's lost.
Who can join
Family only. Every account is approved by hand.
Anyone descended from the family, married into it, or raised in it is welcome to an account. There is no open sign-up: you request access, and someone who knows you approves it.
Details of living people are hidden from anyone who isn't signed in — and the site is closed to search engines. Nothing here is public.
Once you're in, you can add your own branch: your children, your grandchildren, your photographs, your side of a story.
Getting in

Request an account
Your name, email and a password — and please say who your parents are, so we can link you to the right person in the tree.

Confirm your email
You'll get a link. Click it. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder.

Wait for approval
Requests are reviewed by hand, usually within a day or two. You'll get an email once you're approved.

Find yourself in the tree
Your account gets linked to your own record. From there you can browse everything and start adding what you know.
